| Rex and Daniel recorded a video podcast today (vodcast?). It’ll be released on the Tribe’s YouTube channel in a couple weeks.
The setup was pretty bare bones - just some tables and mics in the Crowded Barrel tasting room. It was an interesting change of pace, partly out of necessity, mainly as an opportunity to talk about stuff that doesn’t fit in a typical episode.
As expected, there was plenty of discussion around whiskey. But the most interesting conversations tended to color outside the lines a bit. For me, the experiment struck a chord. We
always talk about the most important part of whisk(e)y happening around the bottle, rather than in it. It was good to see that dynamic in action.
They touched on everything from the community, the distillery, TV, games, music, and even wrapped things up with a truly epic battle of wits.
I don’t want to spoil too much, so I’ll leave you with just one phrase, "The skullet of solidarity."
It’s a thing.
