I'm getting that feeling. You know the one I'm talking about. The "Shit is about to get real" feeling. Things are happening behind the scenes at the Crowded Barrel. Big things. Changes are coming soon.
First of all, plans are in the works for the Crowded Barrel to be open SEVEN DAYS A WEEK. That is huge, considering how many businesses in our industry were on the verge of closing during Covid. We are expanding our hours, which is a very good sign.
Richard and Madison are both getting promotions. Richard will now be our bar manager and will oversee the transformation of our current distillery to a larger tasting room, once the new still and distillery building are operational. Madison is going to be taking over the Patreon stuff, which is a critically important job for the Crowded Barrel, as you know.
That leaves Emma to concentrate her efforts solely on production, namely distilling and blending. She is BEAMING over this. Emma loves making whiskey, and she's damn good at it. You want your people doing what they do best.
Like I said, you can feel the energy in the air around here. It's electric.
OH, I ALMOST FORGOT. Our gin is now available in the tasting room. And it's incredible. It's Daniel's own blend of four different MGP gins, and it is really nice. I'm not even a gin drinker, but when Richard makes a gin and tonic with our gin it is amazing. So refreshing and cool out on the deck in the Texas heat.
So here's hoping we see you magnificent bastards here at the Fang and Feather soon.
You will be among friends!
~ A Magnificent Bastard
