Got two pieces of news for you bastards this week. The first is top secret. I'll tell you all I know about it, which isn't much.

The second is just plain old good news. The kind of thing you tell friends so they can celebrate with you.

The top secret news is twelve barrels of whiskey arrived at the Crowded Barrel from some of our favorite distillers in Texas. This is for a secret project the crew is working on. The planned release is around Christmas. That is all I know. The guys are kind of hush hush about it.

But I'm a snoopy bastard, so I'll see if I can dig up some details and fill you in before anyone else finds out.

And the big news......the good news......

We're now distilling bourbon in the new still. Whiskey production at the Crowded Barrel just jumped from a barrel every three months to ONE A WEEK!

There is going to be so much whiskey around here. We certainly can't drink it all.

CROWDED BARREL COFFEE: BEAUTIFULLY BOOZY 12oz

Coffee beans aged in whiskey barrels? Hell yeah. This collaboration with Virginia Commonwealth Roasters imported our coffee from South America. The beans rested for a significant span of time—nearly 12 weeks—in John Bowman Bourbon barrels. Is it boozy? You better believe it is. It's beautifully boozy!
