Bittersweet. It’s the best way to describe Crowded Barrel’s distiller joining the blending team at Balcones Distilling in Waco, Texas. Emma will be missed, but we can’t help but feel proud when a friend achieves something that’s important to them. We never really focused on it, but her favorite part of whiskey making (by far) has always been blending. And when the blending team of a renowned distillery like Balcones comes calling - the only right answer is, “hell yah.”
