Ours is a community based on some pretty simple ideas. Learn something interesting. Grab a laugh or two along the way. Give the benefit of the doubt. Discover your next favorite whisk(e)y. You can probably name a couple more, but it’s been amazing to see how many like minded MB’s land in the Tribe.

Even people from widely different backgrounds are finding common ground around exceptional bottles. I just ran into a couple MB’s on Crowded Barrel’s deck. They both drove in from states with very dissimilar histories, cultures, and politics. None of that was enough to slow down the good stories and raised glasses.
Not exactly sure what made me think of that.
Maybe because the version of the world we see and hear on our screens isn’t a good representation of reality. It’s almost as if massive industries have a vested interest in driving wedges between us and monetizing the strife.
Just a thought.
