Today’s the day.
The Tribe’s choice for Crowded Barrel’s long awaited still upgrade is finally becoming a reality. This afternoon (Friday), Rex and Daniel are officially ordering a big new still from ABE (American Beverage Equipment).
I’ll have more details about the still building process and timeline to come.
Apparently, the people at ABE are keen on the idea of frequent Tribe updates and behind the scenes peeks.

If that wasn't enough good news, I’ve got another dose for you. The barrel house is nearly full, which is a problem because we all want, ya know - MORE whiskey barrels. So we’re expanding our barrel storage!
Turns out, there’s some clever whiskey makers out there who are modifying shipping containers into modular barrel storage solutions. We’re researching the best practices now, and Crowded Barrel will soon triple it’s barrel storage capacity.
As fond as I am of silver linings, it’s clear that there’s rough seas all around. So what does the Whiskey Tribe do when the headwinds are strong? Drop in the outboard motor and keep moving.
