Last week, Crowded Barrel re-opened with a laundry list of safety precautions.
Whiskey was poured.
Glasses were raised.
Good times were had.
This week, there’s an even bigger change at the distillery. It’s equal parts somber and exciting - but I really shouldn’t tell you here. I hate to be that guy, but a few paragraphs in a newsletter won’t be able to do this news justice. Hell, even Saturday’s Tribe episode won’t be able to cover all the milestones we’re about to cross - but it’s a good start.
Don’t look at me like that. It’s a judgment call, and I think it’s the right one.
… OK, fine.
I’ll make you a deal. Just promise to watch this weekend’s Whiskey Tribe episode for context, and I’ll give you an idea of what’s happening.
We’re losing a beloved member of our distillery team.
Tectonic. I know.
